SchoolSavers Payment

*** Special Offer - for 3 months ONLY all sellers can register and sell their school items for FREE!!!

Free for Users to Browse and Buy

Whatever the item, this is a free to browse facility.

After the first 3 months - Sellers will need to register and pay a small fee to add an entry into the School Savers Directory. Sellers of the no longer required items register with Schoolsavers and fees will:

  • 10% of selling price - eg. If you plan to sell your school item for $40.00 you must pay a listing fee of $4.00
  • Note: a minimum of $1.00 listing fee is required regardless if the item for sale is less than $10.00.
  • Payment can be completed either:
    • via credit card to our paypal account ( Note you need not be a paypal member to pay via credit card securely)
    • or via direct deposit into our Australian Bank Account BSB and Account Number

This is done prior to entry - Note this information is reconciled in the backend so please be honest with your inputs and payments as this information is checked. Any irregularities can result in your listing being unpublished.

Ads remain live on the site until the item has been sold, at which point it becomes the sellers responsibility to remove it from the site.

Benefits to Schools

Apart from the obvious financial benefits to parents and guardians, Schoolsavers proposes to support your schools P&F fund by donating 5% of the listing fee directly back to the school. This provides a good incentive for parents to use the site for buying and selling, as it will have a direct and positive effect for the school.  Listings per school will be calculated quarterly.  An activity report will be provided to the school, along with the donation to the P&F.

Not only will this encourage and support your P&F, but will provide a further service by eliminating the need for the school or P&F to maintain any lists or databases with items for sale.

Sellers of items benefit as there is no need to wait for the end or beginning of term “market day” approach, as the unwanted item/s can be listed and sold as soon as they are no longer required.

Newsflash

Founder and Director Fiona Bull will be meeting with schools in WA to announce the site's objective and mission.
